Corn Earworm
There is little to no risk for corn earworm migration in the next five days. Growers with crops at susceptible stages to corn earworm damage, however, should continue to check traps and scout fields as numerous flights were observed in scattered portions of the corn-growing region especially in mid-August. Some trap locations are still catching moths although counts are, in general, dropping in response to a lack of new migrating moths and crops becoming less favorable or even present in the case of fresh market and processing crops.
