Much of the corn-growing region weather will be dominated by northwest flow in the coming week or so, but a fairly potent system mid-week this week may allow enough south to southwest winds in a portion of the corn-growing region later Wednesday into Thursday to warrant a Low migration risk. This risk area included eastern Kansas into Missouri, southern Illinois, central and southern Indiana, southwest Ohio, and much of Kentucky. Growers in this region should continue to monitor for additional corn earworm moths in traps especially mid-week on.
