As heat, humidity, and southerly winds increase by the weekend especially across the western half or so of the corn-growing region, corn earworm migration risks will also be on the rise. Low corn earworm migration risks are in place mainly along/west of the US 51 and I-39 corridors in Wisconsin and Illinois, and risks spread as far north as North Dakota and Minnesota during the Saturday night into Sunday time frame. Additional risk days are likely heading into early next week, as well.
