Alert Details

Corn earworm migration risks are predicted to be rather low, if any, over the next five days. The only risks come in the Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday time frame as a switch from northwest to southeast flow across the corn-growing region goes into more of a zonal or slightly southwest to northeasterly flow by the weekend and into early next week. The result may be a return to south or southwest winds at moth flight level by that time. Low risks have been posted across the Plains for Friday night into Saturday and then as far east as the Mississippi River and into South Dakota and Minnesota for Saturday night and Sunday.
