Corn Earworm
The primary corn earworm migration focus will be in the next couple nights as remnants of Isaac continue to move north from the mid-south region into the central and eastern corn-growing region. As the center of Isaac moves from Arkansas into Missouri tonight into tomorrow morning, a south to southeast wind to the northeast and east of the center may result in some isolated moth flights into portions of Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky especially where precipitation is more scattered in nature. As the weather system moves northeast through Illinois and into Indiana late Saturday into Sunday, a continued Low risk is predicted from southeast Missouri into Illinois, Indiana, southwest lower Michigan, western Ohio, and western/central Kentucky. No risk is predicted thereafter as wind flow does not appear to be conducive for migration at this time.
