Corn Earworm
A Low corn earworm migration risk is predicted for Friday night into Saturday morning across a portion of the Plains states as the next weather system moves east of the Rocky Mountains. Southerly wind flow is expected to increase to the east of an area of developing low pressure in northeast Colorado and southwest Nebraska. These winds may pose an isolated corn earworm migration threat into fields primarily south of the Nebraska/South Dakota border and as far east as western Iowa and Missouri both Friday and Saturday nights.
