Corn Earworm
Low corn earworm migration risks are in place tonight into Wednesday morning from Kansas and eastern Nebraska east through much of the corn-growing region into the southern Great Lakes region and eastern Midwest. South to southwest winds are expected to increase across this area, and with at least scattered precipitation expected that may serve as insect drop zones, some isolated moth flights may occur. As a cold front pushes east through the Midwest by Wednesday into Wednesday night, the primary migration risk is focused over the eastern Midwest and southern Great Lakes region. No risk is predicted thereafter as high pressure and northwest winds build into the corn-growing region likely for the balance of the extended forecast period (into the weekend).
