Alert Details

A Low corn earworm migration risk is in the forecast overnight tonight into tomorrow morning across far eastern South Dakota, central and southern Minnesota, and western Wisconsin. While high pressure is predicted to hold firm across the eastern Great Lakes and Midwest, enough eastward progression of south to southwest winds is expected tonight to result in the possibility for some isolated moth flights from eastern South Dakota into Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Growers with crops still at susceptible stages to damage should monitor for the potential of new moths and also the continuing threat of moths already present in the field until the crop advances past critical growth stages. No other migration risks are predicted in the next five days as the weather pattern is not predicted to be favorable for migration.
