Much of this week is expected to be dominated by northwest flow across the corn-growing region. By late in the week and into next weekend, however, southwest flow should return and with it comes a Low risk of corn earworm migration as southerly winds and precipitation chances increase. A Low risk of corn earworm migration is predicted across Kansas, southern Nebraska, southwest Iowa, and western Missouri by Friday night into Saturday. Otherwise, no migration risk is predicted until that time.
