Corn Earworm
A Low corn earworm migration risk is predicted tomorrow night into Thursday morning from roughly I-55 to the east, or from southeast Missouri into Illinois and points east into southern Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. A cold front will be pushing southeast through this region, and isolated moth flights from the mid-south and points to the southwest may occur during this time. No additional risks are predicted at this time. Growers should be aware that while there is no threat to crops at this time, some of these early migrants may result in additional generations later this summer that may affect crops.
