Alert Details

Low corn earworm migration risks are in the forecast tonight into tomorrow morning as a cold front begins to push southeast through the western and northern corn-growing region. Southwest winds in advance of this front along with at least scattered precipitation areas may lead to some isolated moth flights from northern Kansas and Missouri northeast into eastern Nebraska, Iowa, southeast Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Low risks continue in the forecast tomorrow night into Friday morning mainly east of a line from near Columbia, Missouri to Milwaukee, Wisconsin as the cold front moves southeast. No additional risks are predicted after midday Friday as northwest flow and cooler temperatures move in for next weekend.
