Alert Details

As a low pressure system and cold front develop across the central and southern Plains states late this week, high pressure is expected to drift off into the southeastern United States. Immediately to the east of the low, southerly winds originating in Texas may spread a few corn earworm moths north into especially central and eastern Kansas as well as into southwestern Missouri late Thursday into midday Friday. A Low migration risk is in place at that time. Otherwise, no additional risks are in the forecast at this time.
