A cold front is expected to drop southeast through at least a portion of the corn-growing region by late in the week. A period of south to southwesterly winds is likely ahead of the front, and may lead to a few isolated moth flights from southern and mid-south source regions. Low migration risks are predicted primarily from Kansas and Missouri northeast into Nebraska, far southeast South Dakota, southern Minnesota, Iowa, southwest Wisconsin, and western Illinois Wednesday night into Thursday. Additional risks are possible over the weekend, just beyond this forecasting period so stay tuned this week.
