No risk of corn earworm migration is predicted in the next five days. Northwest flow is expected to dominate the corn-growing region weather for at least this week, and any periods of southerly flow which may result in a migration chance appear to be too short of a duration and originating from an unfavorable source region, thus no risk. Growers, however, are still encouraged to monitor traps and scout fields especially if crops are at a susceptible stage to damage at this time.
