Corn earworm migration risks return to the forecast by late this week into next weekend as the weather pattern potentially shifts back to at least a brief period of zonal or southwesterly flow ahead of the next cold front. No risk is in the forecast through midday Thursday, but Low risks are back in the picture across the Plains states Thursday night into Friday morning, and then across much of the corn-growing region especially west of Lake Michigan by Friday night into Saturday morning as temperatures and humidity increase along with southerly flow.
