Corn rootworm hatch risks will continue to expand northward across much of the corn-growing region in the next week as heat unit accumulations continue to rise and meet/exceed hatch thresholds. Moderate risks for more scattered hatch risks extends from Kansas into Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and western Ohio at the start of the week, but by late week High risks have been introduced to the forecast across virtually the same region with Moderate risks for scattered hatches extending as far north as southeast Nebraska, portions of central/southern Iowa, northern Illinois, northern Indiana, far southern lower Michigan, and into additional areas of Ohio.
