Corn rootworm beetle populations may continue to be a threat mainly in scattered or less advanced fields especially in the northern portion of the corn-growing region for the next week with more isolated problems elsewhere where the crop is more advanced. Moderate risks continue in the forecast this week across the eastern Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and on east into portions of lower Michigan and southern Ontario, Canada with Low risks in place from northeast Colorado and northwest Kansas into Nebraska, the central Dakotas, Iowa, southern Wisconsin, northern Illinois, northern Indiana, northern Ohio, southern lower Michigan, and additional portions of southern Ontario, Canada.
