Corn rootworm hatch and larvae risks continue to spread north as initial hatch heat unit accumulations are met or exceeded. Fields from Kansas into Nebraska, southeastern South Dakota, southern Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, southern Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, and southern lower Michigan are all expected to see corn rootworm larvae hatch either commence or continue in the coming week. Additional fields in northwest Kansas, eastern Colorado, central and northern Nebraska, northeastern South Dakota, central Minnesota and Wisconsin, and east into central and southeast lower Michigan as well as southwestern Ontario province, Canada may also see new or continued hatches by later in the week and into next weekend and beyond.
