Corn rootworm beetle pressure continues to be reported in scattered areas of the corn-growing region, and High risks remain in place for the next week across much of the area from eastern Colorado into Kansas, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, northern Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, lower Michigan, and east into southern Ontario, Canada. Growers are encouraged to continue scouting efforts even if the crop is past critical growth stages as beetle populations observed now may influence your planting intentions/rotation plans for next year’s crop.
