Scattered corn rootworm hatch risks will continue in the forecast especially from eastern Kansas into central/northern Missouri, central and eastern Illinois, and further east into central Indiana heading through the weekend and into early next week. Additional hatches are possible by next week across portions of central/northeast Kansas, northern Missouri, extreme southeast Iowa, central Illinois, and additional portions of Indiana. We anticipate that hatches will become more widespread later next week and beyond as will the area affected, and growers in or near the risk area are encouraged to commence scouting efforts at this time.
