Corn Rootworm
Corn rootworm hatch risks continue to expand northward and also increase in risk level as more widespread hatches are now expected from Kansas east into Missouri, Illinois, and portions of Indiana. Scattered hatches may also be seen in central to northeast Kansas, southeast Nebraska, southwest into southeast Iowa, western Illinois, and potentially into eastern Indiana and western/central Ohio, as well. Growers in or near the risk areas should commence scouting efforts if not already done so to determine early larvae populations.
