Initial corn rootworm hatch risks are now in the forecast for portions of southwestern into south central Kansas. Additional initial corn rootworm hatch risks will be forthcoming next week. Growers in or near the risk area are encouraged to dig up roots and determine larvae populations especially in more advanced fields.
