Corn rootworm hatch is predicted to continue across much of the corn-growing region in the next week. Fields from Colorado into Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and also southwest Ontario, Canada are all at risk. Additionally, corn rootworm emergence may also occur especially in fields primarily south of I-80 from northern Kansas and southern Nebraska east into Ohio over the next week. Growers should monitor their fields and take appropriate action where needed.
