Alert Details

Corn rootworms will continue to cause problems in many fields across the corn-growing region in the next week. Fields from eastern Colorado into Kansas, Nebraska, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and southwest Ontario, Canada are all at risk. Emergence will become more of a threat as July progresses but some remaining hatches may still be occurring especially in portions of the Great Lakes region and northern upper Midwest. Growers are urged to check their fields and take appropriate action if needed.
