Corn Rootworm
Corn rootworms are predicted to remain a potential threat to fields from eastern Colorado into Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and southwest Ontario, Canada in the next week. While hatch is largely completed, emergence and beetles are expected to be the primary threat across much of the corn-growing region. Growers should monitor their crops closely and take appropriate action, if needed.
