Alert Details

Corn rootworms will continue to cause problems especially on a scattered basis all across the corn-growing region in the next week. Fields from eastern Colorado into Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and southwest Ontario, Canada are all at risk. Corn rootworm damage has been reported on a spotty basis in several states. With problems not widespread, it is important for growers to check their own fields and take any action based on what is occurring in those specific fields.
