Corn rootworm risks continue from eastern Colorado into central and northern Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and southwest Ontario, Canada. Growers should be advised that problems are not widespread and where there are problems, they are not always at treatable levels so scouting of your own fields is critical to determining if any treatment is necessary. Greatest pressure appears to be along and north of I-80 at this time. Silk clipping and feeding is the primary concern at this time.
