Corn Rootworm
Corn rootworms will continue to cause problems in scattered areas of the corn-growing region in the next week. Beetle counts should be monitored closely as crops advance through critical growth stages. Fields from northeast Colorado into Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, northern Missouri, central and northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, southern Ontario, and northern and central Indiana and Ohio are all at risk. Growers are urged to monitor their crops closely and make treatment decisions based on what is being observed in those specific fields.
