The first corn rootworm hatch risks are being issued especially for early-mid next week across southwest Kansas and also from northeast of Saint Louis, Missouri to north of Indianapolis, Indiana, or from central/southwest into eastern Illinois and western Indiana. Growers should be advised that corn rootworm hatches may commence across these geographies in the week ahead and should begin scouting for potential problems especially if corn is at a favorable stage of growth.
