Alert Details

High corn rootworm beetle population risks continue across much of the corn-growing region. Fields from northeast Colorado into northern Kansas, northern Missouri, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, lower Michigan, and into southern Ontario, Canada are all at risk of seeing varying corn rootworm beetle populations in which scouting is recommended especially in most vulnerable fields where fresh silks are present. Growers should take note of where populations are present not only for current potential treatment decisions but also for planting rotation decisions next growing season.
