Soybean Aphid
Soybean aphid risks remain in the forecast especially across the northern soybean-growing region in the eastern Dakotas, far northeast Nebraska, northern and central Iowa, much of Minnesota, Wisconsin, far northwest Illinois, and east into lower Michigan and southern Ontario, Canada. The greatest risks focus across the eastern Dakotas eastward into Minnesota and northern Iowa where a Moderate risk remains in the forecast. Growers in or near this risk area, especially, should continue to scout fields regularly and take note of population dynamics between scouting times. Soybean aphid populations will vary considerably even across adjacent fields and any treatment decisions should be made based on the field level.
