Soybean aphid egg hatch is now likely completed across much of the upper Midwest and into the Great Lakes region as well as into Ontario, Canada. Therefore, all soybean aphid egg hatch risks have now been removed from the forecast. Growers should monitor early season soybean aphid numbers and activity as soybean aphids, if present, will start to migrate from buckthorn to soybeans once soybeans emerge and grow.
