Soybean aphid egg hatch risks will be possible across far southern reaches of the soybean aphid overwintering zone in the upper Midwest, or from northeast Nebraska and southeast South Dakota southeast into far southwest Minnesota, central/northern Iowa, far northern Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio in the next week. There is no threat from these aphids, the risk simply serves as an awareness that soybean aphids may be hatching in these areas and it signifies the start to the soybean aphid season.
