Soybean Aphid
Soybean aphid egg hatch risks will continue to spread north this week, with egg hatches possible as far north as eastern North Dakota, northwest into central Minnesota, and northern Wisconsin by the end of the week and next weekend. Additional egg hatches will be possible across lower Michigan and also into southern Ontario, Canada by later this week, as well. Growers should be advised that while there is no threat to any crops or fields at this time, that the egg hatch risks do signify that soybean aphids are emerging for this growing season and population dynamics should be monitored especially once soybeans are planted and emerge later this spring.
