Soybean Aphid
Low soybean aphid risks remain in the forecast this week, but overall the primary threat has ended or will be ending as some cool nights and breezy north winds across the northern soybean growing area will trigger soybean aphid migration from soybean back to buckthorn which is their overwintering host. Late or re-plant growers located along/north of I-90 from the eastern Dakotas into Minnesota, Wisconsin, central and eastern lower Michigan, and southern Ontario, Canada could still see some soybean aphid issues for a few more days but the overall threat is now ending for this growing season.
