Soybean Aphid
Soybean aphid risks have been reduced but still remain in the Low category for the next week from the eastern Dakotas into Minnesota, northern Iowa, Wisconsin, and into lower Michigan as well as southern Ontario, Canada. Overall, soybean aphid pressure has been lower this year and many fields are now either advancing in growth past the critical R5.5-R6 growth stage or will be in the next week or so, with mainly just late planted and slower maturing fields still potentially seeing a risk from late-season aphid pressure. Growers located in or near the risk area and still with fields in a growth stage R5 or earlier should continue scouting efforts until the field advances past critical growth stages.
