Soybean Aphid
There is little to no risk for soybean aphid issues in the next five days. Soybean aphid egg hatch has likely now completed or there are just a few lingering cases along/north of I-94. Multiple freeze events, including some hard to killing freezes, have likely negatively impacted some newly-hatched populations especially north of I-90 earlier this month. Colonization of soybean by soybean aphids is likely to begin in the next few weeks along/north of I-80 where soybean aphids overwintered and survived late-season freeze events.
