Soybean aphid egg hatch should now be completed across the entire northern United States and into southeast Canada, with colonization of soybean aphids onto soybean likely commencing or continuing in many areas as soybeans continue to emerge and grow. The crop is not at a susceptible stage to damage at this point, but growers should monitor their fields especially for the level of colonization as soybean aphids make their move from buckthorn to soybeans.
