There is little risk of damage to soybeans as a result of soybean aphid in the next five days. Soybean aphids have or are colonizing soybean especially along and north of I-90 where more buckthorn is present, but there is no threat to any crops at this growth stage. Growers may want to do some scouting to see what early season populations may be but any risk is negligible at this point.
