Soybean aphid development risks remain in the Low category for the next week across much of Minnesota, eastern South Dakota, far southeast North Dakota, far northern Iowa, and east into Wisconsin. Weather conditions are not predicted to be favorable for widespread population increases, especially from portions of Minnesota west into the Dakotas, with hot and generally drier weather expected. Despite the lack of an elevated risk, growers are still encouraged to regularly scout fields especially in areas where aphids have historically been a problem.
