Soybean Aphid
Low soybean aphid risks remain in the forecast for the next week across late or re-planted fields in the eastern Dakotas, Minnesota, and western/central Wisconsin where any lingering threats may still be present. Cooler weather this past weekend is likely to result in some local movement of aphids both from field to field but may also signal some colonies to migrate back to buckthorn in preparation for the fall/winter overwintering period. Growers with soybeans still at or prior to R6 growth stage should continue scouting especially if soybean aphids are present, but the risk after this next week or so is expected to be very limited, if any, for any lingering issues this growing season.
