Soybean Aphid
Soybean aphid risks remain for the next several days in the northern soybean-growing region especially with late or re-planted fields that may still be at or prior to the R6 growth stage. With cooler weather and gusty north to northwest winds expected in this region periodically this week, this may either commence or intensify migration of soybean aphids back to their overwintering host, buckthorn, in the coming week. Any late maturing field may still be a target, however, thus the Low risk from the eastern Dakotas into Minnesota, Wisconsin, lower Michigan, and into southern Ontario, Canada.
