Soybean Aphid
Late or re-planted soybean fields especially in the northern corn-growing region may still be at risk for some isolated soybean aphid issues in the next several days, but overall the threat has passed for most this growing season. Still, we are holding on to Low risks to cover these late maturing fields in the eastern Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, lower Michigan, and into southern Ontario, Canada this week. The risk is expected to be removed from the forecast for this growing season by the end of the week especially with cooler weather moving in across this area, further intensifying any additional soybean aphid movement back to buckthorn, their overwintering host plant.
