Late or re-planted soybean fields especially in the northern corn-growing region may still be at risk for some isolated soybean aphid issues in the next day or so, but overall the threat has passed for most this growing season. Still, we are holding on to Low risks to cover these late maturing fields in the eastern Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, lower Michigan, and into southern Ontario, Canada this week. The risk for this growing season will be removed from the forecast tomorrow especially with cooler weather intensifying any additional soybean aphid movement back to buckthorn, their overwintering host plant.
