Western Bean Cutworm
The annual western bean cutworm moth flight is winding down now, but we will continue to keep Low risks in southeast Ontario and southwest Quebec, Canada fields for another week as both crop stage and the presence of a few moths may still warrant scouting and some treatments on an isolated basis in specific crops. Little to no western bean cutworm risk is present in any United States fields now except in portions of New York state and any other more isolated “hot spots” in the northeast or New England regions of the United States.
