Low risks for more potential isolated issues are found across much of the Great Lakes region in addition to the central Plains. Growers are encouraged to monitor traps and scout fields as the treatment window for western bean cutworms is fairly narrow and a proactive approach to managing this insect is warranted where pressure is higher.
