Western bean cutworm emergence is expected to continue to increase in coverage area over the next five days. Overall, however, the risk is kept at Low levels for the time being due to crops not being at a stage where damage could occur from this pest despite increasing moth numbers in some areas. Field sites in southern Nebraska, northern Kansas, northwest Missouri, southwest Iowa, portions of central and eastern Wisconsin, lower Michigan, northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio, and southern Ontario, Canada are all likely to see continued and increasing moth captures both spatially and temporally in the next five days.
