High and Moderate western bean cutworm risks remain across a portion of southeast Ontario and southwest Quebec, Canada and also into northwest New York state and far northwest Pennsylvania in the next five days. Peak flight is beginning to wind down across many areas but lingering high moth counts are still being reported in some fields in the aforementioned regions. Growers especially in the High/Moderate risk areas are urged to monitor their crops for potential signs of western bean cutworms for the next week or so.
