High and Moderate western bean cutworms remain across the far northeast sections of the Canadian and United States corn-growing region, or from Pennsylvania/New York into southeast Ontario and Quebec, Canada. By later this week, the only High risk areas that remain are in southeast Ontario and southwest Quebec, Canada with Moderate risks focusing on upstate New York. Growers in these aforementioned areas should continue to monitor their crops closely for signs of western bean cutworms.
