Western bean cutworm emergence and development is expected to commence especially across northern Kansas and southern Nebraska late this week and into next weekend. A few moths may also continue to be noted across scattered regions of the Great Lakes region but with the majority of crops in this particular area not as far advanced in their growth compared to the Plains states, no risk is being issued for this region at this time.
